hello everybody!

I know i am talking to cyberspace as I cannot seem to get the hyperlink to function properly. I AM trying tho so please keep me on your list - in the meantime many of you have used good old snail mail and i will always get back to you from that.

At last I have just posted the one day classes for August and fixed some dates for the september classes to start.

You will all have a view of a sea of nettles until the garden is cleared- what a hot summer! Doesnt make for good gardening weather tho'.

see you soon

Judi

at last the end of the building work seems to be in sight _all you out there who have been through this will understand the problems of timescales! and not for the want of trying!! as soon as the kitchen is finished i can start the classes but it will be the law of 'somebody' if I put them up too soon and something goes wrong............not that it will of course.

i can't wait to be clear about the summer _ i will be doing one day classes only at first so that you can fit them around your holidays...any suggestions will be gratefully received_ this is your school after all and i want to offer what you want.

looking forward to you getting in touch_please dont lose patience with me_ all will come good in the end.

Judi

It's hard to believe that another month has gone by. The house is coming on and I think I'm nearly at the end -could do without this very cold damp weather tho' as paint takes so long to dry. I've not been idle,Ii went to the NEC in March to the Sewing show where I met Jill Arnold and Barbara who were very helpful with encouragement and advice. I'm hoping to exhibit at the Autumn show so it was useful to see what I'm in for! I will be giving a talk on some aspect of sewing or pattern cutting so it would be nice to meet any of you then if not before?

Apologies again if you are out there waiting for the class dates -as soon as I have a definate moving date I'll put them up and I hope you have not all gone on holiday ...................

ordered new windows today so that in the warmer weather they will open right up and we can enjoy the spring while we sew!

I've been teaching a private client how to make and finish cushions as part of her upholstery course and she has her final assessment tomorrow-here's hoping she passes !

I'm beginning to see the move into my new home will bring lots of new possibilities for the School.....I cant get too excited yet whilst the weather is so unpredictable - we have to have windows and they can't be measured until the new wall is finished. You should see the notes and sketches I have of ideas...will keep you posted!
